This is Dangerous Power's (not so) new marker!
It is the new line for the Fusion franchise, and they have definetely done some more fine tweaking to the already solid F7.
Dangerous Power has a reputation for making incredible markers, for an oustanding price, this one being in the 450 USD price range, which is an incredibly well-priced for what you get in the package.
As soon as you take the marker out of the box, you first notice how light and tight it is, I love this marker to death. And it comes with sooo much also!
Feedneck - It comes with an incredible feedneck, with teeth inside of it to clench onto your hopper with incredible strength, so your hopper never comes off! It also is a low profile feedneck, which is great!
5/5
ASA - The F8 comes with two ASA's (Air System Adaptor), both of which are magnificent. One is pretty ugly, which is the twist knob, but works pretty well, and the RAPS ASA (which has been improved already to be better) which is aesthetically pleasing to the eye, but there is one problem, it sucks having to degas it, because it hurts your nails pretty bad. But it has been improved!
4/5
Regulator - This regulator is also very nice, it has a great velocity rating, having it go +/- 7 when not broken in, but when it is, boy is it consistant. But there are better regs out there.
4/5
Milling - The front of the F8 is pretty ugly, it has these weird smooth lines (which is pretty comfy to grasp IMO) then goes into these sharp nice, sexy lines.
I can't its too pleasing to the eye, but if your not some lil Agg kiddie like me, then you shouldnt care much about it then.
3/5
Efficiency - It has great efficiency readings, I've gotten through over 3/4's of a case, and not have to refill. About 1500 - 1700 shots....roughly.
5/5
Weight - Lightweight. The weight distribution is phenomenal, so it's great to hold on to. Unless your some aneroxic kid, who hasnt touched a weight in his life, this gun should feel light.
5/5
Feel - It has a great feel to it, like I said before, very easy to walk the trigger, and have a comfortable hold on the gun.
But once again, this feel could be vastly improved, and I have seen much better.
4/5
Board - This board unbelivably sucks! Sure it has a lot of modes, such as PSP, NPPL, full auto, and etc. You can;t adjust anything. Opti-switch also.
2/5
Barrel - It comes with a great two peice barrel, and is consistant in the bore sizing. .690
It's not too light, and its not amazing.
4/5
Internals - Poppit styled, spring return. Has some kick.
4/5
Trigger - This trigger could have been improved, the curve of it, is not great at all, but the one thing that is good, is that you can switch out the trigger for an F7....possibly with a mod.
DISCLAIMER: I AM NOT SURE IF YOU CAN SWITCH OUT THE F8 TRIGGER FOR THE F7!
3/5
Over all, I give this gun a 4/5
It's a solid gun over all, and get it if you have the cash for it, just make sure you take a look and feel for it yourself, before you buy.
