PostSubject: Looking into a PMR   Looking into a PMR EmptyTue Jun 24, 2008 10:25 am

Hi there im new and just joined i have a few questions. Ok so i've been reading up on the PMR and seems like a way better choice then the ion i have now (dont flame) but my question is should i just go ahead and sell the ion and about how much can i sell it for? and can the PMR be my main gun as i dont play very much right now, can it keep up with the higher end guns or atleast be able to be on the same playing field?

PMR is a huge step from an Ion. I did the same thing.

Yeah, A PMR can keep up with high ends in terms of speed, it just has a lot of plastic parts and it isn't as air efficient as higher end guns.

Once you replace the plastic parts, its a fantastic gun.

and yes, sell your ion. It may be hard though. Everybody and their mother has one. I'm still trying to sell mine.

I wouldn't sell the Ion I'd keep it as a backup gun. But other than that I totally agree with 'kook

Selling your Ion would be a waste of time. Since so many people have them, and so many people are trying to sell them, the resale value sucks. Supply and demand. Supply is high, and demand is low. So dont sell it. The pmr has a great board and internals. The things you need to upgrade are the feedneck, back cap, barrel, trigger, and maybe a new trigger guard. It's a really good gun and the resale value isn't bad either
