Its ok for a starter. You need to try to get some depth in the background like so:

dangit... i only have photoshop elements 4 tho... do you know a good site with tutorials? All the one i've seen are easy stuff like making another layer...

Did mike announce the winners of the banner competition yet? I think (or it feels like) its been a month already since he started that competition

nope he hasent he also hasent sent out any free stuff that I know of.... I'm starting to wonder... he won't reply to my messages either.

No, he hasn't. One of his bullitens on youtube said he had narrowed it down to the last 20.

I was going to submit one but never found the time.

@ logi, I think he said somewhere he can only reply to a certain number of messages at a time. So he may have not have gotten to yours yet.

yeah i saw that too... but that was over 2 or even 3 weeks ago

Yes that was a while, but this is going to be a huge site. He needs to take his time. Also, Mike is making stickers to go with the first posters packages. So they will be sent out momentarily. Mike will get back to your messages later. I'm sure he gets upwards of 100 messages a day
