FIRST RULE OF MODIFYING YOUR TANK

Just dont do it. The only exception is when there is a trained/experienced personel at your side who has the knowledge about what your about to do/perform on your tank.

If you choose not to follow this rule... it can result in a big boom

O and if you do want to mess with your tank, degass it first (no air in it). :face:

No seriously never mod your tank always have a professional airsmith fix your tank if it starts leaking, I think we have all heard about the story of the kids that put oil in the fill nipple of there HPA tank trying to fix a leaky fill nipple.

you'd expect that a person with an ego would know better... But for some reason i always have this thought in the back of my head, that one day some punk will slip in some oil in my fill nipple without me looking, just to get his revenge...

don't know i would just check in it before you fill and always have a fill nipple cover on it when you are not filling so you dont shove paint/dirt oil and crap in your tank

Read, :study: that i did. fill nipple??:?: Is he talking about the small pin inside the tank, because I know you can maintence your on/off ASA. so wouldnt you wanna be careful not to put to much grease. With the chance for getting some in or on that part of the tank?

it doesnt matter if you put a pinch of oil on the threads (The screw in part) because air doesn't go inside the tank in through that port. Just dont do anything to the small hole sticking out where the nitro whip is plugged into..
